At some point you get asked the question, “When’s Kids’ Day?” The proper answer that most parents give is “Every day is Kids’ Day”. When you’re from a group that gets catered to every day, it’s not necessary to have your own special day to be catered to.

Japan didn’t have the population of Europe and North America combined though… An issue here is that economic ties is what keeps a potential war away. So long as lots of people are making money they will try to prevent a war because it’s bad for business. The moment that stops being an issue we might have World War 3 on our hands. To be fair I think we’ll have it on our hands sooner or later because China is feeling very Imperialistic.
If China’s response to people sanctioning them economically is military takeovers of other nations, then all this is right now is appeasement.
You’re feeding the alligator so it won’t eat you now. Unfortunately, it’s getting bigger and stronger with every meal you give it, until either you run out of food and it eats you, or it gets big enough that it thinks about eating you (and the leftover food you have) anyway.
The Chinese system is a machine that only works when outside money from the west greases the gears. It requires outside investment to keep expanding, all while keeping it’s people at a minimal level of subsistence. Without western money, the system grinds to a halt, China can’t expand continue investing and factories start to crumble.
Very much so, but when you stop feeding it, it get aggressive and starts attacking, with a bit of luck we might get Only a second Cold War. It’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t kind of situation. The big question is Can the West even win this war if it starts?
If it’s damned if you do, damned if you don’t, I’d rather stand on the side attempting to stop a government that’s harvesting ethnic minorities for their organs.
Harvesting organs. Full stop. I don’t care if it’s ethnic minorities having their organs harvested, I care that organs are being harvested at all. Any prisoner within China is subject to this. It’s been known for a while. Their status as an ethnic minority doesn’t matter. The human rights abuse is enough on its own.
I mentioned ethnic minorities because that’s what I read about, where people are being put into camps and, in the case of Falun Gong, being targeted specifically to harvest their organs.
I wasn’t aware that everyone was being targeted for live organ harvesting. Thank you for the correction.
I think you mean they generously donated their organs willingly for the greater good of the Chinese people. China would never do that to the citizens of Chinese Taipei.

some people don’t evolve their pokemon because imagine having a fucking cat and then you can choose to make the cat five times as big and strong. would you do this if you weren’t battling.
Technically if your cat isn’t battling it doesn’t evolve.
That does however give cat owners a strong incentive to not let their cat outside, because realistically any cat that is allowed to roam free is gonna rack up exp until it evolves.

As a bi Indian girl no, it wasn’t good because Sonam Kapoor can’t act for shit and nepotism in Bollywood ruins everything. Alia Bhatt or Amala Paul could have made this movie really good but NO. We got THIS.
Plus Sonam lied about being an LGBT ally just for the movie and when asked about LGBT she didn’t know anything.
They don’t even show the relationship with the girl until the last 15 minutes for God’s sake.
Fire exists, came out 20 years ago, and is the superior lesbian movie. Watch that instead.
